C100 Official Contest Rules

1. Sponsor

All contests (“Promotions”) are sponsored by C100, also known as C100 California (“Station,” “Sponsor,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

2. Eligibility

Promotions are open to legal residents of the United States who are 13 years of age or older at the time of entry, unless otherwise stated.
Employees, contractors, officers, directors, and immediate family members of C100 and its affiliates are not eligible to participate or win.

Void where prohibited by law.

3. How to Enter

Entry methods will be announced for each Promotion and may include, but are not limited to:

  • Listening to C100

  • Submitting an entry via the C100 website or app

  • Social media participation (Instagram, X, Facebook, etc.)

  • Text, email, or online form submissions

 

No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Purchase will not increase chances of winning.

4. Contest Period

Each Promotion will have a designated start and end time (“Contest Period”), which will be announced on-air, online, or on social media. Entries submitted outside the Contest Period will not be eligible.

5. Winner Selection

Winners will be selected by:

  • Random drawing, or

  • First correct response, or

  • Judging criteria (skill-based contests)

 

The selection method will be disclosed with each Promotion. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

6. Prizes

Prizes and approximate retail values (ARV) will be announced for each Promotion.
Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and may not be redeemed for cash unless otherwise stated.

C100 reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a prize becomes unavailable.

7. Winner Notification

Winners may be notified by:

  • Phone

  • Email

  • Direct message (social media)

  • On-air announcement

 

Failure to respond within the specified time (usually 24–72 hours) may result in forfeiture, and an alternate winner may be selected.

8. Taxes

All federal, state, and local taxes associated with prize acceptance are the sole responsibility of the winner.

9. Publicity Release

By accepting a prize, winners grant C100 permission to use their name, voice, likeness, photograph, and/or city of residence for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

10. Conduct & Disqualification

C100 reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who:

  • Violates these Official Rules

  • Attempts to tamper with the contest process

  • Uses automated or fraudulent entry methods

  • Engages in unsportsmanlike or inappropriate behavior

 

All decisions by C100 are final.

11. Limitation of Liability

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless C100 and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from participation or prize acceptance.

12. Privacy

Information collected from entrants is subject to C100’s Privacy Policy and will only be used for contest administration and station communications.

13. Platform Disclaimer

Promotions are not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, YouTube, Apple, Google, or any other third-party platform unless explicitly stated.

14. General Conditions

C100 reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate any Promotion at any time due to technical issues, fraud, or circumstances beyond its control.

15. Rules Availability

Official Contest Rules are available on the C100 website and upon request.
